The penicillinate of benzhydrylamine; its oral administration

It has been demonstrated in individuals serving as their own controls that the penicillemias following the oral administration of potassium penicillin G and of penicillinate of benzhydrylamine are comparable over an 8 hour period. Penicillemias following the oral administration of 300,000 units of either of these two penicillins are two or three times higher than those resulting from the oral administration of 300,000 units of benzathine. No attempt was made to evaluate the antiallergic properties claimed for the penicillinate of benzhydrylamine.
