Quantitative study of the regression 50 mammary cancers after radiotherapy showed that it took an exponential course. The graphic impression was confirmed by statistical study of the linearity of the regression. A time for half-disappearance can therefore be useful in order to distinguish the regression of mammary cancer after irradiation. Its mean value for 47 of our cases was 17.8 days. The significance of this parameter is certainly complex; it is possible that a prognostic value can be attributed to it.
