Clinical studies on Schistosoma japonicum infection in man in Japan over the last 10 years are reviewed under the main headings: clinical features of chronic schistosomiasis; liver shape and size in chronic schistosomiasis; splenomegaly; electroencephalogram; and the relation between hepatoma and chronic schistosomiasis.
