This paper as based on the studv of one hundred cases of patent ductus arteriosus submitted to the intracardiac catheterization. Clinic, hemodynamic, roentgenologic and electrocardiographic results were presented and discussed. The data obtained through the hemodynamic study were correlated to the elements given by clinic, roentgenology and electrocardiography. The incidence in the female was four times greater than in the inale. The ages ranged from two and a half to sixty-two years old; the greatest incidence occurred under the age of ten years (63 per cent); over thirty, there were only four cases.
