Two siblings with clinical and laboratory evidence of ataxia-telangiectasia syndrome are described. Both of them also suffered from lactose intolerance. They exhibited immune deficiency state, giardiasis and malnutrition. All these are known to give rise to lactose intolerance. The factor(s) involved in causation of lactose intolerance in these siblings could not be determined.
