Of 100 sera from patients in Saudi Arabia with schistosomiasis, 98 gave negative results in the latex agglutination test for hydatid. 49 of 50 sera from healthy persons were also negative. The Casoni test was negative in the 3 persons whose sera gave doubtful reactions.
