A rapidly progressing ulcerative condition affected the feet and legs of all 18 pigs on one farm. This disease bore a sufficiently close resemblance to swine vesicular disease to necessitate the serving of restrictions while laboratory examinations were carried out. The cause was considered to be primarily traumatic with a secondary bacterial infection.
