A 50-yr-old woman with Cushing's syndrome developed several smooth or slightly raised nodules 3-6 mm diam. on the neck. Abundant septate hyphae of variable diam. with some oval or spherical swellings were seen in the nodules. Cultures yielded only an Alternaria.
