Beta-glucuronidase in the streptococcal groups B and D

100 strains each of group B and group D streptococci, including 58 group B strains from cows with mastitis, were tested for presence of beta -glucuronidase. The enzyme was found in 98 of the group B strains (57 of the mastitis strains) but none of the group D strains.
