The presented angiograms were obtained on a frail 26-year-old female with congestive heart failure, cyanosis (aortic oxygen saturation 76 percent), clubbing, polycythemia (Hb 22.9 g, Hct 71 percent, RBC 8.4 million), cardiomegaly, a loud systolic murmur along the left sternal border, systemic right ventricular (RV) pressures, markedly augmented pulmonary blood flow and pulmonary arterial (PA) pressure of 62/22, mean 38, mm Hg (oxygen saturations 96 and 98 percent).
