Pacemaker atrial lead dislodgement inducing ventricular pacing is reviewed, and four such observed cases are described. This interesting complication of the atrial lead producing ventricular depolarization results in an array of electrocardiographic manifestations and vignettes. These documented experiences emphasize the infrequent persistence of this event, even with the utilization of modern atrial passive and active fixation leads.
