Common pain syndromes of the upper musculature

This is a study of the pain syndromes in 600 patients. All syndromes were less frequent in persons who do muscular work. The frequency of pain syndromes occurred in the following order: upper trapezii; tendons of the long heads of the biceps; Moseley's point; lower angle of the trapezii; angles of the scapulae and cervicodorsal region. All syndromes were usually more frequent on the right side. The greatest frequency was between the ages of 50 and 59.
