Four species of Cytaea Keyserling, 1882 are diagnosed, redescribed, and illustrated: C. laticeps (Thorell, 1878), C. nimbata (Thorell, 1881), C. rubra (Walckenaer, 1837), and C. sinuata (Doleschall, 1859).
