Although health care is provided by many different medical professionals, medical technologists are usually not present in emergency care settings. Kameda Medical Center has established and been implementing a system of in-house certification as emergency medical care examiners. Medical technologists who have undergone seven-month-or-longer in-house and emergency medical care training and passed the final screening are certified as emergency medical care examiners, and their presence in critical care centers for 24 hours a day has improved the quality and safety of medicine.
