Drug induced hypersensitivity syndrome (DIHS) is a rare but potentially life-threatening adverse drug reaction particularly associated with anticonvulsant drugs. We describe the case of a patient who suffered from DIHS caused by anticonvulsant. Our experience suggests glucocorticoids (GC) may be of benefit to children with severe DIHS.
