This paper provides an overview on the status of various programmes addressing anaemia among adolescent girls in India, including iron-folate supplementation, deworming and tetanus toxoid immunization. Analyses on impact assessments conducted to evaluate these programmes, as well as their cost effectiveness in reducing anaemia prevalence, are discussed.
