Ultrasound investigation is more and more useful instrumental investigation, for early detection of rising signs of bowel occlusion, if compared to conventional radiology. The most important advantage of echography, such as dynamic evaluation, that other static radiological procedures can't supply, permits infact the study of potential mechanical peristaltic disturbs, revealing the stratification of liquid and gas enteric contents, one of the most significative sign of intestinal occlusion that, supporting clinical suspect in the reported collection, made possible early surgical solution.
