Calculi were collected from 3 bulls, 6 bullocks and one male buffalo in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh; details are given of age and weight of the animals and the number, weight and appearance of the calculi. By chemical analysis only carbonate, Ca, Mg and a trace of phosphate were found. Radiographic analysis showed that all samples consisted of magnesium calcite with an atomic percentage of Mg between 14.5 and 21.9.
