Transposition of the cotyloid cavity in treatment of iatrogenic deformities of the hip joint

The method of transposition of the cotyloid cavity after triple pelvic osteotomy was used in operative treatment of 97 patients (105 joints) aged from 7 through 19 years with iatrogenic injuries of the hip joint after conservative and operative treatment of congenital hip dislocation and dysplasia of the hip joints. All the patients had positive clinical and X-ray effects. The results obtained were analyzed from the viewpoint of endoprosthesis and compared with usually used palliative operations.
