The objective of the study was to valuation if the use of topical Mometasone Furoate for the treatment of rhinitis provokes an elevation of the intraocular pressure. It was comparative, double blind, experimental, prospective and longitudinal. To measure the intraocular pressure of the patients at the third week, sixth week, three month, six month and one year. There were some modifications in the intraocular pressure, but without exceeding the normal parameters. Mometasone Furoate is safe and does not cause an increment in the intraocular pressure.
