In tests with 12 fungicides and 7 antibiotics against spores and stromata of P. penniseti [on Pennisetum typhoides], dithiocarbamic acid and quinone derivatives were better than dicarboxamide derivatives, and Cu fungicides were weakly fungistatic. Aureofungin and griseofulvin were effective even at 100 mu g/ml.
