The health conditions of children and the results of their active dynamic monitoring in the Lenigradskaya Oblast reflect the national trends in Russia. The typical characteristics of the region are discussed. The mass health examination, its results and retrospective analysis are presented. The major tendencies in children's health of the region during the last seven years are revealed.
