The problem of search for true direction after successfully initiated development of residency in general medicine is discussed, with special reference to a number of unfavorable political events. Many family medicine concepts and structural patterns definitely fall down during the period of transition. New patterns of work appear in the form of a group of other specialists, and family medicine specialists can certainly prepare with equal success.
