Skin microcirculation was studies in 120 healthy people of different age and in individuals with signs of senile slackness. It was shown that ageing is accompanied by impairment of microcirculation which is determined by morphological alterations in microvessels, alterations in microhemodynamics and changes in rheological properties of blood. Senile slackness of the skin is characterized by the reduced quantity of functioning capillary loops which resembles the microcirculatory structure of aged people.
