Remote results in operated patients with non-small cell lung cancer in IIi clinical stage

Nearly 25% of the patients with non-small cell lung cancer are diagnosed despite in operable stage of the medicine development. The operative results are not satisfied because over half of them are with local advanced tumor or metastases in mediastinal lymph nodules. The aim of present study is to share our distant results from operative treatment of patients with non-small cell lung cancer in III clinical stage. We investigate 138 patients which are operated for non-small cell lung cancer in III clinical stage. Five year survival in patients was 23% and in stage IIIB was 0%. 25 patients were with complications. Operative treatment in patients with non-small cell lung cancer in III stage is connected with frequent complications. Available metastases in mediastinal lymph nodules aggravates a diagnoses with sensibility.
