To determine the efficacy of using embryos cryopreserved more than ten years in a donor embryo program. Embryos were cryopreserved using a simplified freezing protocol and then donated for anonymous use after the donor had had a successful pregnancy and was sure she did not want to conceive again. Two women in the donor embryo program transferred embryos that had been cryopreserved longer than ten years. Both patients delivered healthy babies. Embryos cryopreserved over ten years can result in successful pregnancies.
