The occurrence of enamel pearls on both lower first molars in an Irish Setter bitch, 13 months old, is described. The displaced enamel excrescences in forms of pearls and grooves occurred in both molar teeth on the labial aspect of the bifurcation and the anterior and posterior root. This embryological malformation resulted in periodontal abscesses.
