Time has flown by since the Journal of Wound Care/Mölnlycke Health Care Scholarship awards ceremony in May. However, I can still vividly recall my feelings of immense surprise and delight at being awarded the Experienced Practitioner Scholarship. It was covered in several local newspapers and on our trust website, and I have been touched by the congratulatory messages received from colleagues, friends, members of the public and patients alike.
