Tubercular cholecystitis presenting as subacute intestinal obstruction

Tubercular cholecystitis is one of the rarest manifestations of tuberculosis. Our case presented with subacute intestinal obstruction, loss of appetite, loss of weight, lymphocytosis and raised E.S.R. The diagnosis of tubercular cholecystitis was made after histopathologic confirmation. The pertinent literature is reviewed.
