The aim of this research is, what students in secondary school think of alcohol consumption, and estimating the social extent of drinking among the surveyed youth. Therefore, I used the questionnaire consisting of 9 questions. Feedback was collected by means of a sectional research on 122 secondary school students in the 1st grade (68 girls, 54 boys). The results analysis revealed unequivocally that the problem of alcohol consumption among youth exists. 83 percent of respondents claimed that they have already tried alcohol, whereas 50 percent of them admitted to drinking on recurrent basis. This fact signifies the need to undertake preventive actions which would be held in schools since the early-schooling age. They should take into account the following aspects: the family norms and attitudes towards drinking, and the level of students and their relatives' alcohol addiction.
