To report a phacoemulsification of intumescens cataract and repair of congenital iris coloboma through one superior incision. Retrospective case report. Postoperative repair resulted in adequate pupil restoration, exact IOL position that allowed good visual rehabilitation. Cataract surgery in most cases is performed through superior incision. Congenital iris coloboma repair using the same incision is difficult but provides good cosmetic and functional results.
