Ethanisylate has been administered in drops to 31 patients (900 mg/day, in three administrations) presenting relatively serious broncho-pulmonary hemorrhages which were lasting since quite a long period. The favourable results obtained (suspension of bleeding and improved hemocoagulation tests) have confirmed once more the therapeutic effectiveness of the substance and of its mecchanism of action which, on the one hand increases capillary resistance, on the other hand potentiates the vascular phase of hemostasis.
