I understood that trans fat should be avoided because it can increase your risk of cardiovascular disease. And I had heard that the main source of trans fat is partially hydrogenated oils. Now, I see some products contain partially hydrogenated vegetable oils but still claim to be trans-fat free. How is this possible?
