To improve the quality of out- and inpatient care in otorhinolaryngology, the authors propose standard minimum of medical measures (preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic) which should be taken in each nosological entity of ENT pathology. it is emphasized that medical standards should be adjusted to the disease peculiarities, possible atypical course, etc., but the scope of diagnostic and therapeutic care should not be less than the standard list of measures. Deviation from the standards is a criterion of medical service imperfection.
