The western health care system needs a fundamental change. Many patients, doctors, nurses and leaders in the health system are worried about quality, meaning, essentially, the quality which we should receive as patients. Between the health system which we have and those which we could have, there exists not just a distance, but an abyss; the bridges which we need create in order to save the system must be based on the necessary organizational changes and a rigorous, wide application of new technologies. One of the greatest challenges in the change necessary in health organization for the Twenty-first Century is based on the preparation of sanitary personnel. Inside the total quality system for our health system, our system for learning appears as a main and constant factor. In the next few years, our educational systems should make use of all the technologies at their disposal in order to guarantee the minimum possible number of errors.
