The aim of this study was to determine the levels of protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamin B complex, as well as energy value in certain molluscs which are available in domestic markets [Poland]. The nutritive value of the analysed products was determined using analytical methods applied in food chemistry. Concentrations of thiamine, riboflavin, niacin and vitamin B6 were determined using microbiological methods. Considering the high nutritive value, the analysed seafood products are recommended as valuable components of the diet.
