Detachment of the choroid often accompanies operations which require opening of the eye ball. Till present time we had no method of objective registration of the state of choroidal detachment, although this registration could catch the appearance and dyndmics of the detachment, which is of great importance for the choice of therapeutic method. For this purpose the following method of quantitative evaluation of dynamics of choroidal detachment was used. The bled margin of detached choiroid was determined with the method of investigation in passing light and recorded in grades along the arc of a portable perimeter. Such a determination was performed not less than following each 30°. The findings were recorded on a special elaborated scheme. Such examination performed each other day or daily provides visual picture about the development of choroidal detachment, allows to choose a reasonable therapeutic method.
