Having a single restorative material that performs well in both the anterior and posterior is a welcome benefit to the practicing dentist, especially when that material exhibits exceptional esthetics. This potentially decreases the inventory that clinicians must stock. A self-etch adhesive that eliminates postoperative sensitivity is applicable to all procedures and offers the clinician confidence when he or she is dealing with enamel, cut or uncut. Together, they represent a formidable combination for the clinical restorative armamentarium.
