To study the personality, stress, harmful emotions, coping styles and oral immune change of patients with TMD. Using MMPI, LES, Trait coping inventory, SDS, and SAS to test patients and normal control, and using radiate-immune method to determine SIgA content in saliva. The scores of TMD patients in MMPI were significantly higher than those of the normal control (P<0.05, P<0.01), and 10 patients' MMPI results were abnormal. The scores of TMD patients in negative life event and work event were significantly higher than those of the normal control (P<0.05, P<0.01).
