A long-legged buzzard (B. rufinus) from a zoo in Turkey presented with clinical signs of botulism by stomach tube. Clinical signs improved in 24 h and the buzzard was in good condition after 3 days. Although avian botulism is intimately related to water quality, in this case, examination of the stream water showed no evidence of Clostridium species.
