Multi-stage augmentation of a narrow lip by the V-Y advancement

The author describes in the present article a possible surgical procedure using multistage V-Y shift for the correction of narrow lips. His work is based on long-lasting experience assembled during surgery of facial clefts and corrections of post-traumatic conditions. He emphasizes some advantages of the described procedures and the importance of carefully selected indications for its application.
