From a comparison of the incidence of Ascaris, hookworm and strongyloides infections, as evidenced by faecal examination, in 108 cases of bronchial asthma and 300 controls in Singapore, the authors conclude that there is no correlation in the tropics between the presence of helminthic infections and bronchial asthma.
