The purpose of this paper is to advise medical care providers in the USA about appropriate secondary prevention approaches for breast cancer in female Japanese citizens residing in the USA. The Japanese population is increasing yearly in the USA. It is estimated that 2,000 Japanese nationals reside in just the Cincinnati metropolitan area. It is important to understand the impact and health risks of breast cancer for this population, as well as identify cultural behaviors and language difficulties. Clinical implications for the secondary prevention for breast cancer in this population are discussed.
