Determination of inorganic anions in beer and brewing water by ion chromatography

An ion chromatography method was used to determine fluoride, chloride, nitrite, dihydrogen phosphate, nitrate and sulfate anions in beer and brewing water on a YSA8 8022A-9(250 mm x 4 mm i.d.) separation column, with sodium carbonate-sodium bicarbonate buffer as mobile phase and an electrical conductivity cell as detector. Qualitative analysis was performed with retention time and stanard spiking method, and quantitative analysis was conducted with a calibration curve by measuring the peak height. This method is simple, rapid and accurate.
