The effect of an aqueous extract of roots of Rumex patientia (100 mg/kg, po), collected from Turkey, on capillary permeability which was induced by xylol and hyaluronidase was investigated in rabbits. The extract inhibited capillary permeability, and it was as effective as indometacin (10 mg/kg, po).
