A study was made of the influence of a long-term exposure of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 and 17 beta-estradiol on deactivation of MAP kinases in correlation with proliferation of cancer cells. The obtained results illustrate inhibition of cell growth after vitamin D treatment. Mechanisms of such an inhibition are discussed.
