Conservative treatment of severe osteoarthritis of the knee and hip joints with long-term injections of arteparon

The treatment of 19 bf 28 patients aged 35 to 78 years was successful. Arteparon intrα-articular and intrα-muscular injections were made after the same pattern. The number of injections during the first basic cure was approximately 40. The author has pointed out that this method of treatment could let the young and middle-aged adults with severe post-traumatic and post-infective osteoarthritis to come to the bottom limit age for total hip or knee replacement.
