Early and late Tc-99m diphosphonate uptake in a giant benign breast cystosarcoma phyllodes tumor

A 64-year-old woman with a large left breast mass had mammography and breast ultrasound that were suggestive of a giant fibroadenoma. Preoperative bone imaging as on the images showed intense uptake in the mass obtained 15 minutes after injection as well as on the late images. Pathologic examination revealed a large benign cystosarcoma phyllodes tumor.
