Tc-99m HMPAO brain perfusion SPECT was performed in a 10-month-old patient with postepileptic transient left hemiplegia using a dual-headed gamma camera. Decreased perfusion to the right basal ganglia and thalamus was shown. Diagnostic information could be obtained on such a small patient with Todd's paralysis by conventional brain perfusion SPECT.
