The by-products of some agricultural industries and activities might perform a problem as regards to their disposal. The present study is devoted to make a good use of these wastes and consequently, the solution of the disposal problem. The results of activation and characterization of date stones, residual cake after squeezing olive oil and charcoal are presented in this study. These preliminary results, which are based on original, simple and accelerated characterization criteria, reveal the validity of the used precursors to produce air pollutants' adsorbent.
